In 1932, Creola Assembly of God was established with a passionate vision to reach the lost. For decades, Creola Assembly stood as a light to the community and a banner of hope. Generation after generation, men and women of God sacrificed, served, and invested so the Kingdom of God could advance in Creola and the surrounding areas.

In January of 2023, under the leadership of lead pastors Hunter and Ashley Taubel, Creola Assembly was prayerfully renamed and relaunched as Free Life Church. While the name changed, the mission remained the same—the heartbeat is still to reach the lost.

Since the relaunch, Free Life Church has experienced significant growth—in attendance, salvations, ministries, and community impact. God has been faithful to breathe new life into our church, expanding our reach and allowing us to see more people connected, discipled, and empowered than ever before. What began as a step of faith has become a movement of momentum, unity, and spiritual renewal.

 

We believe it is impossible to move forward without honoring the foundation that was faithfully laid before us. As we step into the future, we carry with us the heritage of our church and the legacy of those who paved the way.
